Magnolia House is owned and operated by Lawrence (Larry) Simpson. He and his wife Linda have enjoyed working with the public in different capacities for many of their 25 years together. Magnolia House Enterprises is comprised of Magnolia House Bed & Bath Lodging and Magnolia House Stoplight Cafe.
Open primarily First Monday Trade Days weekend and by special reservations. Larry loves to provide the facility, lodging and nourishment for special events as well. Such as: Family Reunions, Church Retreats, Survivor Groups, small Weddings, business meeting, etc. Just contact us to make special arrangements for any event you are having.
Located on "The Mountain" in downtown Canton, Texas. Home of the World's Largest Flea Market, known as First Monday Trade Days Flea Market. "The Mountain" is a replica of an 1880's Old West town. With gun fight reenactments, quilt auctions, free live music entertainment, Late Night Shopping in the many gift shops, Awesome food in "The Mountain" restaurants, and numerous lodging facilities available from several different hosts. Directions: to “The Mountain” and Magnolia House are as follows:
Off
of Interstate 20 take exit 528. Go south to the first stop sign (1.7 miles);
turn right (west) for 2/10 of a mile. On the right side of the road enter Old
Mill Marketaces 1st entrance. "The Mountain" entrance is
at the east side of the Old Mill Marketplace parking lot.
